The program moves in a gentle, steady rhythm. Every second week we gather for full group workshops on Zoom. These are focused, structured meetings where we take the next steps together. In between we hold sharing circles—softer meetings where we slow down, listen, and open space for whatever arises in the group field.

Phase 1

Village Exploration

We begin by exploring the dream of village life together—exploring needs, visions, and possibilities. This phase is about opening up, asking the right questions, and seeing the bigger picture of what a regenerative village can be.

Phase 2

What it takes

Here we ground the dream in reality. We map the commitments, resources, and contributions needed to bring the vision to life—both individually and collectively. This is where clarity and responsibility take root.

TDF's Model

We dive into the living culture of Traditional Dream Factory. Through practices of belonging, governance, and contribution, you experience what makes this community thrive.

Phase 4

Village Realization

The final phase is about convergence. We align decisions, confirm commitments, and co-design the concrete steps towards building the 23 homes and the living village. It’s the transition from vision into reality.

What is the Village Portal?

The Village Portal is a 6-month program that helps you explore TDF’s permanent village in Alentejo, Portugal. It’s part learning journey, part design lab, and part community audition. You meet the land, the people, and the work of being a village builder.

By the end, we’ll have a pioneering group and a co-created blueprint for the neighborhood—ready to move into the next phase together.
